My wife and I had lunch at the Grand Concourse and I have to say the food there was the best we ever had. The service was great and the history and atmosphere of the building is amazing!

In my opinion, its the best brunch in the 'burg. That, blended with the setting, atmosphere, and the LEGENDARY service from our waiter Jimmy, made yesterday a day to remember. Thank you! P.S. The homemade donuts rock! YUM!!!

The service was great and the outside table lovely. But Charley's fish chowder was disappointing. It was fishy and tasted like they added a cup of salt to overbear the fish. That was edible. But the crab cake was not edible. It was so bad I left half on my plate. Even dousing it in mustard did not help. The only thing I liked were the fries. Frankly for 25$ there are many better places to have a lunch.

This is our favorite place for a special occasion! The food is always excellent, as is the service. We tried the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. we've had that shrimp at a number of places, and this was the best by far. really big shrimp! Charley's Chowder and Martha Vineyard salad is what we have always ordered, for years. always consistently delicious. A beautiful Pittsburgh landmark!
