I was referred to Dr. Byrnes by another retina specialist for surgery for eye floaters. Dr. Byrnes is very reassuring, personable and thorough. I was confident in my decision to have him perform my surgery from our very first meeting. I highly recommend him as well as his office. I had Melinda B. assigned to my case and she responded very quickly and pleasantly to every question asked. Couldn't be happier with my choice or my results!
Great news, I was so well cared for by The Retina Group I only have to see Dr.Byrnes once a year now. His office is Located and easy to find. The office staff are so nice ,friendly and considerate to Patients needs. I love seeing Dr. Byrnes, He is very efficient and thorough .
Dr. Byrnes is the best, he is compassionate and helps me keep my vision in one of my eyes. He has successfully treated my problem and has helped me keep my vision in that eye.
Quite happy with Dr. Byrnes. Communication regarding current eye status is very good. I have confidence in his monitoring and treating my existing eye problems. Most importantly, through the ongoing contact with him, I feel confident that if anything regarding my macular degeneration should ever change requiring other treatments be undertaken, he has the knowledge and experience to do the medical care required.

In processing very nicely handled by an obviously well-trained staff. Preliminary testing by technical staff equally well handled. Each anti-Covid precautionary measure thoroughly preformed — twice! In the doctor’s own exam room, he performed an additional cleaning himself as I watched. His exam was all that it needed to be; very reassuring as well.
My experience with Dr. Byrnes has been very good so far. He is personable and has answered any questions I have asked. He and the staff have all been professional.
