The Best of the Best! Will be forever grateful for the Good Doctor and his skill. I now live in Charleston South Carolina area and my current doctor wanted to know who my surgeon was in NOVA. He indicted the work was very good!
I was seen reasonably on time. As always, Dr. Byrnes talked with me like he knows I am an intelligent human being and told me what I need to know about the progression of my macular degeneration. I have complete confidence in his knowledge and advice.
I think Dr Sanders is very knowledgeable and caring. I have been been a patient over 5 years for an occlusion of my retina. I receive a shot every six weeks which is administered with compassion and carefully numbed. The staff is quite efficient. The office wait is far to excessive and this makes a patient feel unimportant and the time interacting rushed. He needs to address this flaw in the practice.
Would definitely recommend (and have) Dr Barazi to friends and family needing retinal care. He's efficient, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He's one of the good ones, and I'm very reassured with my eyecare in his extremely capable hands.

Dr. Byrnes takes the time to listen to your issues and then explains what is going on. He is very professional, caring and never rushed. My experience with the entire staff and doctors at the Retina Group of Washington is 5-stars.
My experience with the Retina Group of Washington over the past 18 months has been above reproach. Everyone there, from the back office to the doctors I've seen, has been friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Dr. Sanders is still new to me (my original doctor took maternity leave) but he also fits the profile: friendly, easy to talk to, and expert in his knowledge.
