Always a great experience. Seen on time - minimal waiting particularly given the steady volume of patients. Dr. Byrnes remembers me year after year and spends as much (or as little) time as I need.

I highly recommend Dr. Gordon Byrnes at the Retina Group of Washington. The entire staff from the front desk to the Technicians is very courteous and professional. Wait times are more than reasonable. Large floaters appeared in both eyes after laser cataract surgery, apparently a common side effect. He said the procedure needed to remove the floaters, a Vitrectomy, is fairly simple and takes about 10 minutes. My wife and I have been going to Dr Byrnes for over 5 years, He is a professional in every sense of the word. He explains what is going on with our vision and recommends courses of action to correct issues when necessary. So glad he was recommended to us. Office staff is friendly and efficient.
I see Dr. Byrnes every four or five weeks for an eye injection for my age-related macular degeneration (AMD). He is the very best! He listens to and cares about me, and does everything possible to determine the best treatment for my AMD. When he gives me my injection, he does it so gently that I can't even feel it happening. I was seen reasonably on time. As always, Dr. Byrnes talked with me like he knows I am an intelligent human being and told me what I need to know about the progression of my macular degeneration. I have complete confidence in his knowledge and advice.
Dr. Byrnes takes the time to listen to your issues and then explains what is going on. He is very professional, caring and never rushed. My experience with the entire staff and doctors at the Retina Group of Washington is 5-stars.
I have had good experiences with Dr Byrnes fir years and I expect to continue doing so. I would recommend him to everyone.
