Really bad service. Dr Goodman will prescribe pills instead of exam, x-ray, or bloodwork, His diagnosis is by guessing. My symptoms got worse under his care. Office charged me Telehealth visit that Dr Goodman was a no show. Very unprofessional and poor managed office
He is a great doctor; explains things well, takes plenty of time during appointments, is on top of it all. I think his staff is terrific.
Dr. Goodman started seeing my mother as a new patient, around 1995. She became very close to him, as several previous doctors in and out of the area, didn’t have a lot of experience with Chrons disease, at that time. He not only became a very special doctor to her, he was a very special friend in her eyes. I would recommend him to anyone with any sort of stomach issues. Thank you for all your years of love, caring, advice, and medical practice to my mother, Edwina. You were truly a life saver to her for many years!
My husband had an appointment with Dr. Goodman today. He was a new patient and we were very impressed. His appt. was at 2:00 and we were walking in to our room at 2:00. No wait time at all. He was very friendly . He didn't rush us and took time to answer all our questions. So happy we changed Gastrologist. Would definitely recommend him. Thank you. Jim Chamberlain
They are awful, rude, unprofessional, insulting, incapable of truly providing any level of character and/or actual care. Impossible to schedule defies doctors instructions, and barricade themselves between patient and doctor so you can never get thru to communicate a single thing. Doctor is a wonderful man, and probably very good at his job, but I'd rather take a slow and painful death than deal with nurse Rachel or the rest of the "team"
In December 1993, I was admitted to Erlanger on an emergency. My esophagus was bleeding and I required an endoscopy for an accurate diagnosis. My Internist at the time called in the best gastroenterologist available in Chattanooga, Dr. Michael Goodman. He diagnosed me with esophageal cancer. Because of his diagnosis I was able to receive the care I needed to survive. His followup care always gave me the feeling that I was his most important patient, even though I wasn't. good personality, explains things clearly, answers any and all questions and most important does not rush you out the door. so happy I finally went to see him.
