The interior at Good Earth Indigo Chapters in Halifax is lovely, warm, and welcoming, and it’s a nice place to sit and meet friends. Unfortunately, the coffee was a big disappointment. I ordered an espresso, and my friends ordered lattes. All of the drinks were essentially undrinkable—very bitter, with a strong burnt-coffee-bean taste. We couldn’t finish them. Such a welcoming space deserves much better coffee. I hope they can improve the quality and preparation of their coffee.
I would love the place and I would come 3x a week but what's with this chairs with the short legs, they belong in a kindergarten, they should not be in a Cafe, they are not comfortable could not sit there and enjoy my coffee, too bad because that's the nicest Cafe in Bayers Lake. I visited often during the Summer where I could sit outside.
Nice place with services and deco. Food is ok. A bit flat with croissant that like just came out of microwave. Panini is not grill press and using hamburger buns is not panini.
