Great place!! Very friendly people! Nice presentation of train history among actual current train business. Was mesmerizing to watch the trains in the yard. Very comfortable viewing area with lots of benches, seats and tables. Loved it! Also, they offered a special ticket that allowed you to see four attractions in North Platte for a very reasonable price. It would have made a really terrific day, but sadly we had to move on.

After 40 yrs of service with the UP my husband and I were finally able to make it.We had a wonderful time and the staff is amazing! We will for sure make it back when the weather is a bit warmer lol.Thanks everyone! You made our experience wonderful!

As a former train hopper I have to say that this is a place talked about a lot in the hobo camps. To visit as an "average Joe" is very different than watching out for the train police, "bulls". If any body gets a chance to talk to a train hopper, you will get an interesting perspective.
