It is very pretty and well maintained. Even if you think your kids like trains they aren't really interested more than about 10 minutes so it's definitely something you want to do just don't expect the little to fully appreciate it.
Pretty cool place. The observation tower was nice, and the gift shop was well stocked. Lots of history to be learned as well. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit.
