About this business

Opened in 1997, this pub took Anchorage by storm. The menu holds a full selection of appetizers from Brewhouse Amber ale-battered halibut and calamari to desserts such as wood oven-roasted bread pudding or outstanding crème brulee. Entrees vary also, from an applewood grilled King Salmon, to a three peppercorn spit-roasted prime rib accompanied by garlic-mashed potatoes. Of course, don't forget to try the house-brewed beers.

We walked in and we're told we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table, we waited 1 1/2 hours all the while there were 4 unoccupied tables . We finally were seated I brought this situation to the manager and he says they were saved for reservations as we walked out after eating there were still 2 tables unoccupied. There are a lot of tourists here so I think they reallly don't care what you think as long as they get into your wallet knowing you aren't a local.

Business response:

We care tremendously about our local clientele, your ratings, and reviews. The best way to ensure minimal delay in seating is to make a reservation either by phone or online. We apologize for your experience and hope you'll come back to join us for another chance to serve you.

Long wait, even with reservations but we thought we'd died and gone to King Crab heaven when our meals arrived. Worth every dollar spent!!
