I Usually have amazing service and great food at glacier but last night was very disappointing. My party was waiting for me on the bar side Unbeknownst to me so I asked for assistance in locating. The head hostess Confirmed the name and said “she’s over there “just pointing Not even looking in my general direction no assistance or anyone to guide me to my table while there were at least four people standing in the hostess stand. Great atmosphere and food! Service was great! Best halibut I’ve had!
Waiter (Sam) was present but not overly attentive. We had a reservation we showed up a bit early for, and yet they got us in quickly. Food was good and the cocktails were well balanced (so many places are too heavy on liquor or mixers, but the proportions here were perfect)
2 1/2 hours fromt he time we were seated till we got the bill. Food used to be the awesome but tonight not so so good. Over cooked steak and small portions. Waitress delivered the wrong Beer twice daaa really.
I do think the quality of food here is very good. I also really like the fireplace. However, the wait staff who works in the afternoon are low caliber. The manager actually comped my lunch because I was ignored and the hostess could not bus a table near the fireplace. I sat at the bar so I could get service. Based on a friend's recommendation, we went to the Glacier Brewhouse on our first night in Anchorage. What a great time! Our server Johnnie was the BEST and made our first experience in Alaska so memorable!!
Very nice and polite waitress (Haliley). Very good food. Very good location. Very good beer. Im used to German kitchen and service, I know what I am talking about �
We have been visiting Glacier Brew house for many many years. It is our go to for any celebration. The staff is wonderful and the food is fabulous. TREAT yourself special. Go see the magic that is Glacier Brew House! We will be going tonight for our 36th wedding anniversary dinner. I love the Brew House!
