About this business

The drive of the culinary entourage at Girl & The Goat gets its inspiration from the persistent animal that is now their not-so-concealed mascot. Specializing in locally-sourced and organic produce, this restaurant follows the farm-to-table philosophy to the tee. Vegetables, seafood and meat are cooked up in fun, imaginative ways, minus the compromise on variety. Going by the name, the goat dishes are sure to tantalize your taste buds. While the goat was surprisingly good (and I'm glad I tried it), everything else was super-bland and average. I don't know, maybe I'm just not a foodie, but I am sad to say this place didn't live up to the hype for my husband and I. We've decided, it was good to try it but we won't be heading back. Not sure why so many people have raved about it. Also, I think baked blueberries with goat empanadas are just strange and doesn't go well together at all.

It's rare for a restaurant with this much buzz to live up to expectations. Goat empanadas, chickpea fritters, pan roasted halibut <sigh>

Shared five different and amazing dishes at our table with a beautiful Sheraz. Halibut was amazing, Shank incredible, beet salad fresh and full of flavor, loved the honey bread, and more... Definitely a place to repeat!

What a wonderful place! The food was amazing the service was perfect. The only hard part was choosing between all the different options on the menu. I will definitely be back again.
