Didn't have a single bad dish, everything was great. I'd recommend the pig face, goat belly, and the pork belly. Definitely need an order of the greenbeans as well. Waiters are very helpful too on suggestions

One of the best meals. Ever! The staff went above and beyond for my husband who is on crutches. Everything we are was better than the last. A perfect experience and totally reasonably priced.
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner this evening. The waiting staff was friendly and attentive and clearly knew the menu and ingredients to a "t". Some of our favorites included the trout, scallops, and cauliflower. We also lived the cranberry ciabatta bread. The cauliflower portion was abundant as was the bread.. Best food in Chicago hands down. Sitting at the chef table was a plus. Try the pig face, roasted cauliflower, pork shank, and scallops.
Dori and I have been looking forward to a dinner at Girl & the Goat while attending ACEP since reserving a group table back in May! Sad to say we were notified only hours before the planned meal today that our table was no longer available due to being "double booked". Too bad, we have followed the Chef on Top Chef with interest for some time, heard great things about the meals, and at the last minute dropped from long standing reservation along with multiple other ACEP diners like yesterday's kitchen waste.
Let me tell you about my recent visit to the girl and the goat. It was my first visit and I had heard from many people that I had to check out this restaurant. We called the day before and got a great tip to come in early and put our name on a list before they opened. We arrived at 4 PM, valet the car, put our names on the list and waited until they opened at 4:30pm to be seated.
