We ordered the Shrimp & grits, Trio of Swine & pecan pie this evening as a takeout order ! It was absolutely delicious !! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed !!!

Food and atmosphere was fantastic! We went for a private event and were able to try most if not all of the dishes. Everything was prepared so well and was unique. Our favorites were the brisket, macaroni and cheese, and collard green. We also had a chance to meet chef Kenny Gilbert and hear about his background and inspirations. Truly a great night!

Love this place!!! Great Southern Soul BBQ w/ a high end twist! I had the fried green tomato sandwich with pimento cheese and Brunswick Stew. Both were amazing. My wife had brisket and it was cooked perfectly. Very tender and had great flavor. The sides are fantastic as well. Can't wait to go back for dinner!

We ordered the Rib Plater, the shredded turkey � was tight not moist bland, shredded pork was good as well as the sausage, didn't get to the duck, gator was cold. Potato salad was completely bland no seasoning at all, hoping John was more rice than beans. Fried green tomatoes were great ��, strawberry watermelon salad was very refreshing njoyed it.

Gilbert’s catered our wedding at the end of July and we could not have been happier with the food and the service! All of our 150 guests could not stop raving about the amazing food Kenny and his team provided. The shrimp and grits were fantastic and we loved the Brussel sprout slaw.

Originally went just because I heard they had some bones for dogs but decided to try some meat while I was there. Got the gator ribs and my verdict is that the meat has good smokey flavor but the spicy mustard was just too much. Should be more delicate mix that doesn't drown the bbq flavor. Really awesome local spot however! Very friendly staff too.
