Kenny invents, creates and prepares food you once disliked or never thought of and makes it something you'll drive 5 hrs for. Hi from Charlotte NC when we go see Kenny for Hot Ribs, crispy Brussel Sprouts and a "nana-puddin" that is SO good, you'll forget there's ice cream on the side!
Best shrimp and grits I've ever had. Staff was very friendly. Alligator sliders were also excellent.
We have been here several times and enjoy the atmosphere and the great food! My favorite is the Triple Swine plate! We always come here when visiting from Detroit!!

The dining experience was amazing. Our service couldn't have gotten any better. (I felt sorry for our server who had to deal with rude snowbirds at the table next to us!!) However, we ordered the pimento cheese, assorted pickles, speckle cheese grits and the ultimate sampler. Everything was full of flavor and tasted wonderful. It made me feel proud that I'm from this side of the Mason-Dixon, it doesn't get much better than true southern cooking. We will definitely be returning.
The people were really friendly. The presentation of the food was beautiful and nice size portion. We had a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed there food. Everyone said that is was a bit spicy for them. Unfortunately, I ordered the catfish; the first plate I got was undercooked, they tried to correct it and the next batch was at the other end of the spectrum it was overcooked to the point that it was burnt, tough and dried out. 2 rib sandwhich to lick your fingers, brisket sandwhich to die for, shrimp over grits and the sausage don't even go there. Real good southern food.�
