We have one mission: to deliver great comfort food that families could enjoy together. My passion for the food industry started early, as my father Gideon would make delicious meals from scratch that consisted of an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The entire family would gather around for hours and enjoy conversation mixed with family style cooking. Stopped last Saturday had a bowl of Chili and corn bread. Yummy�
Just happened to drive by, my partner and I were starving! The menu is simple but loaded! Very friendly staff, the restaurant is clean, we even had a nice conversation with the owner. Being from the south I have high standards for my bbq, the pulled pork was great, a different flavor but just as good as down south. The portions are decent, especially if you want more than one thing. Very happy with this hidden gem.
We saw your ad on TV and stopped in late Sunday afternoon. The food and service were great! Pulled pork sandwich was the best ever. Chicken croquets, greens, okra, fries were delicious! Fish n chips cooked perfectly and also delicious ! Very nice dining room . Clean and cheerful. Can't wait to go back.
Service was polite but not gracious. My fish & chips were overcooked. The ribs were $16 for 5 ribs and didn't please my kid.
Food and service was great! We got the dinner sampler to share because this was our first time here and we wanted to try more than one thing. I wish they had a better option for 2 people to share. They only have a large picnic option that serves 4 people or more. Also, I'm from the South and the Southern Sweet Tea was in no way southern and I had to pour it out after one sip. That was the only bad part of my experience.
Way exceeded expectations! Food is terrific. Seriously. Check this place out of you haven't already.
