We have one mission: to deliver great comfort food that families could enjoy together. My passion for the food industry started early, as my father Gideon would make delicious meals from scratch that consisted of an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The entire family would gather around for hours and enjoy conversation mixed with family style cooking. Great food, great service, pleasant atmosphere, really enjoyed myself!
Traveling back to NJ we found Gideon's. And loved it! I had the Pulled Pork sandwich and my husband had the Brisket ssndwixh. Both were excellent! The fries were EXCELLENT! And the milkshake....I want another, NOW! We'll be back, of course.
Great family restaurant! The food is delicious...especially the mac & cheese (my picky 3 and 5 year olds loved it, so that's saying a lot!). :) We will definitely be regulars here from now on. :)
We had the smoked wings, Mac n' tots, pulled pork, brisket and burnt ends. All were delicious; burnt ends and pulled pork yummy, really liked the chipotle sauce on the wings, but the Jamaican Jerk rub was a bit bland (for me anyway!). My husband loved the tots and the Coleslaw was one of the best I've had! We will be back!
Yummm. Gives Bear's a run for its money! Very taste meat! I tried the pulled pork and the brisket. Both great.
Great food. Where else in Glastonbury area can you find collard greens? :-) BYOB! Packie right next door. What are you waiting for....... .
BBQ was delicious. Loved getting to try the different sauces. The owner will bend over backwards for you. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes. I've never seen such a clean BBQ place, it's a wonder how with the sauce slinging we did YUM �
