We have one mission: to deliver great comfort food that families could enjoy together. My passion for the food industry started early, as my father Gideon would make delicious meals from scratch that consisted of an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The entire family would gather around for hours and enjoy conversation mixed with family style cooking. Amazing place for really good bbq! the smell is just heaven and the guys are super nice. We also did catering with them and it was so gooood, everybody at the party commented on how good all the food was and even the sauces to go with it. also check out the specials menu, always something different!
Went for a late lunch Saturday afternoon, got a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich to split between the two of us, Absolutely delicious- piping hot and dripping! Did not leave hungry by any stretch of the imagination. We will be back

We love this place. We've been to Gideon's for lunch and dinner, used them as a caterer and had them host an event for us at the restaurant. The food is awesome and the service is great!
Gideon's is one of my favorite takeout places. Since I'm temporarily displaced this year due to a house fire, they're even cooking my Thanksgiving dinner (pulled pork, ribs, burnt ends, and sides). Can't wait!
Great BBQ lunch spot near the center of Glastonbury!
Just what I was looking for. Simple, well priced, traditional BBQ. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious and come topped with coleslaw as it should be. Fries were a perfect golden brown. Yum!
