I have been trying to cancel my layaway plan by calling and the phone number no longer works. I have no other option than to call and cancel. Horrible service. I will never use you again. NEVER. You are taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation and not allowing customers to get through to cancel their plans. This is ridiculous. I have been calling for 4 days now with no assistance. RecommendedGet Away Today has been so helpful with all the plans changing with COVID. They were so accommodating, giving me info as fast as possible and making me feel so at ease while rebooking our trip. Will definitely only be booking tickets through them from now on!! ☺️☺️☺️
They have an amazing layaway plan. I've used it twice with the peace of mind insurance. I was able to recently change my room type and add a night to a future trip. They were so great in helping me. I know I can count on them if I need to make any other changes to my reservation :)
I purchased tickets for a trip with Get Away Today. Unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to the Covid 19 situation. The parks are closed, and we are not able to reschedule for more than a year in advance. Another vendor I got tickets through issued refunds for tickets. However, Get Away Today refuses to issue a refund. Steer clear of Get Away Today unless you want to risk losing your money!
We bought our Disneyland tickets through getaway today to go during this recent spring break ....well due to the current conditions in the world we were unable to go. They contacted us right away 5-6 weeks ago to let us know we could change our tickets to another date or use the credits for later or get a full refund. The Covid-19 virus sabotaged my family’s Disneyland trip and I had not bought the insurance. I was getting really worried because the tickets expire in December. However, GetAwayToday not only offers a way to refund some of the money but extended the expiration date to December of 2021! We chose to wait it out and take the trip at a later date. We LOVE GetAwayToday! just booked our 11th trip with them for my youngest daughter and me to have a mommy/ daughter week. They have amazing customer service. Their Layaway plans have helped me on a lot of our family trips. I honestly cannot believe some people have any complaints about this company.
I am very impressed with Getaway Today. We had purchased the peace of mind plan which was only 29.00 and they easily returned all of our money for our Disneyland tickets. They were kind and understanding and helped talk me through all of my options. I would recommend Getaway Today to everyone and I wish them well as they try to navigate this crisis.
not refunding people's money due to the covid19 shut down of Disney is very wrong and shows that this company does not provide customer service to people. they should be ashame of themselves for stealing people's money. stay away from this company.
