Georgia Heights is the best apartment complex in Athens! The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the maintenance staff is super responsive. The only downside is that there is no guest parking but there are multiple workarounds! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Friendly staff. Good location. Small apartments. Way too expensive for the size. Parking is $60 a month. You pay double or triple most other rent costs for an apartment that's half the size. Ridiculous fines upon move out. In my personal experience, there was a tiny scratch (less than one inch) on the INSIDE of one of the sofas. You had to remove the cushions to even see it. I lived here for over 2 years during my undergrad at UGA. Wonderfully efficient management, great location (5 minutes from campus!), and fantastic quality apartments. The prices might seem steep at first, but there's no other apartment complex in Athens that can compete when you compare all of the features included.
This place is way too expensive for college students. They charge for everything. Parking is extra, they increase rent, they will hit you with repair fees when you move out, and they even charge fees just for making payments!!! The furnishings look good but are cheap quality. Don't overpay for your kids education by spending this much for an apartment. There are much better choices for students. The staff is friendly but you will get hit hard in the pocketbook at this place.
Wouldn't want to live anywhere else! Georgia Heights has the best residents and employees. They are quick about maintenance repairs and give us free food all the time!!
