Georgia Brown's offers a wide variety of soul food and "low country" fare served with Southern hospitality. Select from the traditional dishes of South Carolina, such as fried catfish and seafood gumbo, or be daring and try the shrimp and grits or frogmore stew. In a nod to the health conscious, Georgia Brown's also offers vegetarian versions of the meat-filled entrees. For a special treat, stop in for Sunday brunch, which features live swing jazz and a generous fixed-price menu.

Very first time here with my daughters and 2 of her co workers. Service was good, food was good a little pricey. Portions were not worth the money we paid.
I had the fried chicken. It was average, it needed to be more seasoned and served hotter. I was disappointed. My Georgia Peach Martini was fabulous and we had a great server! Maybe it will be better next time in D.C.
Overpriced for mediocre food. Georgia peach martini was good though.
Delicious! Our waitress Alexis was very attentive and offered great customer service. Best service so far this trip!
I enjoyed the food. It was amazing, needless to say. However, towards the end of my meal I noticed a roach crawling on the table next to me and then it made its way towards me. I mentioned it to the waiter and he came and killed it for me. I was really turned off by that. I couldn't finish my meal because I was afraid of what could've possibly been in my food. Great place but could be better if the roaches weren't there.
Had a wonderful brunch today, best server Ms. Alexis Artis
Shrimp and grits = AWESOME! My husband had the buttermilk fried chickens with collars greens and he LOVED it
The chicken and collard greens were excellent. Loved the live jazz. The only thing that was negative was the temp in the restaurant. I heard several people mention how hot it was, me included.
I've been to about 27 different states and 4 different countries and this was the best soul food I've ever had. Great service as well.
