Went to George's today and enjoyed good food and service with our waitress Dot. We had the 1948 menu $.25 cup of chowder and $.50 1/2 dozens of clam cakes. Yum! And the fried clams and fish and chips was great also. Highly recommended.

Watery white chowder. Clam cakes were good. With looking at the recent reviews, Kevin the owner may want to consider having a new management team improve staff training. Kevin has been in the business for a long time and I am sure he will do what is right for his business. Kitchen staff need to improve on taste and quality as long as good quality products are being used.

So my wife took me here for my birthday this past weekend. I'll start with what is good, when you arrive and there is a wait they take your cell phone number so that they can text you when your table is available leaving you free to walk around or wait in your car. Secondly the server we had (Kyle) was absolutely wonderful and although it was very busy he was attentive and polite ! Went last night with my family and friends. Was told there was a hour wait and we waited the hour because we wanted to try it. After living down here for almost 8 years and in RI my whole life never tried the restaurant. Out waiter was good. But the food was not what I expected. We all the chowder and clam cakes and the chowder was so thin and cold. My self and son got the fish and chips and the fries were not all that hot and the fish not that great.
