We shared two starters as we are a married couple. One was a bowl of lobster bisque and the other Apple wood bacon mussels. Our main dishes were a seafood marinara and baked stuffed flounder. Everything was excellent. My only suggestion would be to turn the Apple wood bacon mussels into a main course by adding pasta maybe Angel hair or fettuccine?

Business response:

Hi Aletta, so happy to hear that you enjoyed your dinner with us! That does sound like a delicious idea... Next time you come in feel free to ask your server for a side of pasta with them, we can definitely make that for you!

Food and locale were good... Only minus was our clamcakes lacked CRISPY CRUNCH you associate with clamcakes... Like they were held in a warming tray and steamed before serving... Bring back the CRUNCH!

My family has been visiting George’s since the 60’s. This was my grandfathers favorite place, we live out of state and try to visit at least once a year with him. My grandfather passed away recently and we decided to bring the family to George’s to remember him and have a day together in his favorite place. I can’t thank the manager enough who allowed my mom to make a reservation for a large party pretty last minute and the staff for accommodating us yesterday. Our server was fantastic (joe I think!) and helped make what’s p... read more

Have not been to this restaurant for years so decided to try it. Mistake. Worst meal. Fried scallops were not cooked and served in a basket. No room to cut or eat out of basket. The waiter did not say the "special" menu for January was on table but handed us regular menus. We chose baked fish and scallops. Baked fish was OK but not the veggie or rice. could not eat them. Waiter forgot to bring appetizer of chowder until he brought meal. I had to ask for it. All in all, price was $54 and food was terrible. Do not go to this r... read more
