Great classic drive-in. We had the double cheese burger, tenderloin, chili and onion rings. Will definitely be back!
Great coney sauce on the dog I had (You can call it chili, but it's coney sauce to me!) nice portions, crispy fries, delicious onion rings, and my wife's tenderloin was excellent! Friendly service from a VERY busy fellow. I highly recommend George The Chili King!
Good eats, after I leave there I'm usually feeling fat dumb and happy!
Had a tenderloin, fries and shake and was great as ever. Had a move over a few seats. A grandma was introducing her 4 grand kids to George's. Lots of smiles and George himself was there and doing great.
Twenty three years ago I lived about six blocks from here and would stop by occasionally because it reminded me of a little diner in Burlington Ia, where I grew up, called Van's Lunchbox. I stopped by the other day, and it is not how I remember it. Frankly it has gone downhill dramatically. I was disappointed.
Eat lunch here AT LEAST twice a week. Just love the diner atmosphere, burgers, fries, & onion rings! MILKSHAKES ARE PHENOMENAL! AND THEY ALWAYS ADD CHERRY FLAVORING TO MY COKE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
