Ordering a Honeywell security alarm from Geoarm today.
Purchased over $1000 alarm system over a week ago. I called them and they seemed unhelpful just said they ship from distributor so they ship out in about 9 days didn't ask for my order number or anything. Emailed them and they said the same thing. It's ok I understand if it takes so long to ship out but they should be more upfront about how long it takes to even ship out. It would also help if they had a way to check the order status. This company is awful. I placed an order through their site and 9 days after I placed the order I called them and asked if they were ever going to ship the order. They said it was in their shipping department waiting to be shipped. Its now been over two weeks and I have sent 2 emails and also an online chat inquiry and they have not responded to me. I have still not received my item or received any shipment confirmation. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere for your security needs.
The only thing that's keeping me from rating 5 stars is that it can take SO LONG to get product. I waited a month to receive a part and when it arrived, a component was missing. There's no good way to get order status. Sometimes the Chat and email are both unresponsive...takes a phone call. Other than that, they are very helpful and polite. The alarm monitoring is as good as it gets. Great value for the monthly charge.
Hands down the best alarm company. After purchasing my Honeywell Lyric security system for my place in Manhattan, anytime I had a question, they were there to help and were extremely polite on the phone. I was amazed at how much they wanted to help me and the time spent making me feel comfortable with my purchase. I was also reassured by the knowledge each technical service representative had of the Honeywell Lyric product line. You got yourself a life long customer!!!
