Beautiful clean facility with friendly competent staff and doctors. My choice of hospitals.
Horrible place to have a child. We had our little girl in March and they kept her in the special care unit for a week. All because she had an accelerated heartbeat for one hour after birth. And they put my wife on meds that are harmful to take while breastfeeding, which we were.
I recently had surgery there I was very impressed with there care and professionalism on how they treated me from the ER dept Denna was my first nurse Dr. Ritt & his team Dr Idree & his team, to Tony in the observation floor. Then there was Eve.G during the day & of course my favorite one of them all Heidi M she made it seem like you was at home and if you needed anything she was Johnny on the spot getting it for you. Don't bring your loved one to this ER. My mother in law has been sitting in the ER for 4 hours with a blood clot in her leg(found during a routine test and sent directly to the ER by the technician) and was never seen by an actual doctor in the ER. No IV started,nothing. Her test results went unread for hours. Her blood pressure cuff malfunctioned for over an hour and no nurse came in to take care of it. Make a longer trip to William Beaumont where someone will care whether your loved ones have a stroke or not.
Worse hospital on earth. How are you still open?
