This Chicago landmark located in River North has been around since 1941 and is considered to be Chicago's oldest steakhouse. Like many places of its ilk, the dark mahogany paneling and white table cloths are de rigeur while the wait-staff wear ties and aprons. The food was amazing and the service was amazing as well..They made us feel at home. It has to the only fine dining downtown with free valet..They also gave me an amazing free birthday dessert. Highly recommend this authentic Italian Food, Steak and Seafood food spot and I've been to many alleged authentic spots but this is the real deal. I should have gotten an extra appetizer of that Sausage and Peppers to go
This restaurant was recommended to us by many people and it sure lived up to my expectations. 5 stars all day long. The service and food was out of this world. Excellent!
We had a great time here last night! Food was fantastic! Service even better. Love the history of the building, would definitely go again. Tip - get the lemon cake even if to go, you won't regret it!
The food was just average.. I've been to better steakhouses though. The decor was awesome though.
