I cannot give enough praises for Gem City Door. I had an incident with our garage door and needed help fast. I had called around to other repairmen with half the stores closed and half with no openings for a couple days. I did not want my door open all night. I did not catch the name of the gentleman I spoke with but he offered an emergency visit for the same night or to come early the next morning to fit me in. Eddie made our decision making and project very simple. He came to our appointment on time, and he presented clear options along with a concise recommendation. Installation was flawless - very professional. We are happy with the outcome - definitely makes a difference in the curb appeal of our home.
I called Eddie (owner) around 7:30 this evening with a broken torsion spring. He got to our house and had the job finished by 8:30pm. He provided useful information and his price was very reasonable. I will be using Gem City Door for any future garage door installation/repair.

Our spring blew out on our garage door, which makes it almost impossible to get the door open manually. A friend/neighbor recommended Eddie and Gem City and I’m really glad I called him. Eddie was extremely responsive and flexible with scheduling. They were in and out quickly and the price was more than fair. It was obvious that Eddie knows this business and is very good at his job. A true professional. I’ll never use another overhead door company.
