Omg the wait? I’ve NEVER waited so long before and I had to leave!! I don’t even get seen!!! I was in too much pain to just sit there oh my lord never again
I would like to thank everyone in the ICU. I went in Sunday 3/16/25. I went to the ER with chest pain radiating into my back. After several test it was concluded I had a pulmonary embolism. I was in the ICU for 4 days. The team there was absolutely spectacular! The6 talked me through everything to make sure I had a clear understanding. Due to the fact that I was in the ICU my son was not allowed in but they pulled some strings so I could visit with him in the waiting room. Without them I would not be here today.
I was the accompanying family friend for an entire ER visit and the patient received prompt, personal, and professional care from every nurse, technician and doctor.
This does not even deserve one star. I waited in the emergency room for over 5 hours, hacking up a lung and in an immense amount of pain. It took them 6 hours to get me in — not including waiting for the room, even though I thought I was on the verge of dying because of how intense the pain in my throat was everytime I breathed, sneezed, and coughed. Will never go back again. I think i could have inevitably made a better medical diagnosis than the doctor themselves. What a joke of staff. Never coming back here again.
I'm currently a patient here at Holy Spirit Hospital. When the nurses were changing shifts and discussing the transfer of patients, the guy in the room next to me has pneumonia And coughing constantly. I've been sick for a month and the last thing I need is pneumonia. I spoke to the charge nurse and she told me there is no room available on the floor to move me. I am here for cardiac issues and about to leave if the patient advocate is not able to get me moved to another room. I have asthma which makes me more concerned. Upd... read more
