Run down and Stinky. You get waht you pay for. – The worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my entire life. The hotel is run down and when I checked into my room I discovered that I was given nothing more that a closet with a murphy bed in it. The room was dirty and smelled like stinky feet. Dirty walls and the bathroom was run down falling apart. This hotel and the room is so run down that there has to be health and safety violations that should be enough to shut this hotel down or at least downgrade it to an emergency h... read more

Great if You Are a Starwood Member Anyway! – I've stayed at the Nines and have rented rooms there for my SO's parents (wheelchair access needed). Both of our experiences have been wonderful. Before moving to Portland, I stayed in numerous hotels in the downtown area. All were wonderful and had their own quirks. Realizing that only so much can be done with the renovation of an existing building, I was very impressed with the Nines. While the rooms we stayed in on all occasions were not very large, they were well laid out and ... read more

I got Robbed by A sheraton Employee !!!! – I stayed there NYE 2010. after Leaving my PRESIDENTIAL SUITE on the 23rd floor we walked across the lounge area for Orderves and snacks complimentary of the the hotel at 5:00. On our way out of the Lounge I stopped to use the ladies room inside of the lounge area, While inside I had hunge my purse on the purse rack behind the door. I exited the Restroom leaving my purse behind, after a split second of realizing what had happened I quickly turned around ( while still in the lounge ) ... read more

Poor service for a Marriott – Avoid this place if you can. We stayed at his hotel for five days over the Holidays. On two of those days, there was no maid service. On one day, we returned to our room late at night to find an unmade bed and a messy bathroom. On Christmas Day, we received clean towels, but no other service. Completely unacceptable, especially from a Marriott brand hotel. Also, you have to park your car in a spooky garage next door. Not pleasant late at night. We won't stay there again.

Should have stayed at the Marriot across the street – Horrible- Do yourself a favor and trust the negative reviews- they are all true, the positive ones have to be either LUCK or FAKE. My husband ordered an incredible hulk drink and was charged $17 bucks, so I told the bartender to remove my long island iced tea order. She had not made the drink yet- there was no alcohol or anything at all in the glass (except ice). This bartender refused to remove the long island iced tea order from my drink charge- even though she had not ... read more

My husband and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and thought this hotel was wonderful. The atmosphere is really high end, which is perfect for a "staycation." We were thrilled to see that Sharing Spree was offering rooms for half off, and booked right away. We look forward to having access to the club lounge where drinks and food are included, and we know from experience that they have a good selection there! The Sharing Spree also includes parking, which is awesome because otherwise it's pretty spendy.

View Seating/Strategy for getting it. – Parking is underground - enter on the east side. Validate your ticket with your server for free parking after 4pm. But, to get the best seating in the bar area, be in the lobby at 3:30. (Elevators do not go up to 30th floor until 4 sharp) Get in the elevator at 3:59 and push '30' until it operates. The first few people up get pick of the view booths along the south side of the bar. Nice for sunsets. Don't be shy to ask about sharing the booth - it is common to do it. Restaurant faces N... read more

Overpriced and Awful – This was our second dinning in 2 months at Il Palio. The first was an OK experience but not great. This last week was a total disaster! It took them over an hour to serve the second course, we were a party of 8. My pasta main course was overcooked with the consistency of rubber. My wife's fra diabalo was more like god awful. Never will I grace these doors again, it was a horrible $100 plus meal that Carraba's would never serve.

Enjoyed our stay – Stayed here3 nights before going on a cruise and the room and staff were great. The free wi-fi, business center computers, and pool keep my teens happily occupied. There was no frig/microwave in the room nor was either available for use in guest rooms....I wish I had known that prior to booking. I would have chosen a different place with these amenities available. I thought that the hotel restaurant pricing was also overtly expensive so we ate out every day. There are 4 restaurants within a five minute wal... read more
