They wanted $190 for initial visit and labs and then $75 a day for 5-10 days inpatient to stabilize my diabetic dog after a couple days with no improvement I took him to another vet who charged for the initial visit then sent me home with the insulin to treat him myself with follow ups in his own home.
Pretty disappointed with my recent phone call to gateway this afternoon. I have been using them for years. I called to get a simple allergy shot for my dog, and they told me that they could not work me in unless I dropped her off at 8am and picked her up at 3-4pm that same day. You mean to tell me I have to stress my dog out by leaving her with you for HOURS just to get a shot? Long time customer, sick of the drop off and pick up hours later thing, no personal face to face with my vet, they keep closing, I'm gone.

I felt the joy when you told me he was able to get up and walk, and I also felt the sorrow when you called to tell me he passed away. I know you all worked so hard and I am so grateful for everything you did for Moose and my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know you all, like me, wanted a different outcome. Dr Gary and his staff are hands down the best. They care for my two boxers as if they were theirs!! Dr. Gary has always been very open with what is going on with our pups even when the news may be tough to take. My oldest had to stay overnight for some testing and the staff updated me every chance they had and first thing in the morning! I can’t say enough about them, if it says anything, I drive over an hour just to take my pups to Gateway!!
I love Gateway and the staff. They never disappoint and theyre always so accommodating. Dr. Gary has been my vet for 10 years. I randomly call to get my dogs nails trimmed and they always see me same day no problem. Today was no different except when I stepped towards the counter to pay, the tech said today’s nail trim was complimentary. I’m always prepared to pay for every service, so this was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Gateway!
Everyone there is awesome and shows compassion for the pets and passion for their work. Highly recommended!!
