RecommendedBeautiful place and very helpful management
Never have I ever lived in a place like this before I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one people outside all night fighting playing music loud , smoking etc n you try n tell them they doesn’t care .... they locked me & my boyfriend out of my house when I wasn’t home didn’t give me no 24hrs notice or anything the next day I walk downstairs n the guy is walking in my house with another worker my boyfriend got mad n cussed them out but they obviously didn’t do anything about it once I told them about it .....

Don’t be fooled, the pools are hardly ever open, local kids are out of control (think climbing on garages, running on roofs, and smashing lightbulbs) and the office staff mock you when you try to follow up on maintenance requests (at least one specific office staff member does, and has a history of poor work. Including but not limited to taking official documents and not filing them/scanning them in (such as required renters insurance) and has been rude in nearly every interaction. I pay $700 a month of rent but every month I’m charged $850-$900. I was charged $100 for police being at my apartment (I called them because someone tried breaking in) & they refused to put through my free month rent for two months until I paid it. Then charged me a late fee for not paying for my FREE month. Every month they find something new to add to my bill. Also my ceiling in the bathroom has leaked over 8 times from my neighbors and they only thing they do a tell them to use a waterproof shower curtain. Won’t fix leaks... read more
For some reason, The Gates has changed management about 8 times in the last three years. But most of the changing of management has been in the last year. There are so much normal wear and tear on the property, because it has not been kept up to date. The management charge the residents for things that should not be charged to the residents. Terrible communication. I have been waiting weeks to get my $300 back that I had to hold an apartment. Ive tried emailing and calling and nothing.
This i one of the worses places that we have lived in, in minnesota. Now they cheating all there residence. i have had like 30 residents approach me telling me stuff about the new management. There has been so many people moving out. They dont fix nothing. this place is a nightmare.
