Great food, Great service every time ! We always find time to get here -average- once a month and we have NEVER been disappointed !
This place is one of my wife's and I favorite places in Gettysburg. This is almost to a fault because we know there are other good restaurants there, but why pass up a place you know you'll get awesome food, good beer, and a fantastic setting.
I have got to recommend the shepherds pie, the Guinness stew, the bangers and mash, and the Benburg burger. This place is so cool when it comes to food and service. You might even want to try the Holy trinity beer.
The Garryowen is hands down the best restaurant around! From drinks to food, it's all outstanding! I've never had a meal I didn't love and the service is exceptional! If you are in Gettysburg and eat somewhere else, you have made a mistake!
I went on my birthday this year and the family had a great time. It was St Patrick's Day so it was definitely crowded but the bar atmosphere stayed at the bar or I should say bars and we enjoyed our dinner immensely. I had some concerns about that being the case and messaged the owner. He replied quickly and gave a very detailed honest opinion. For which I am very grateful. We decided on trying it and are thrilled we did. My son enjoyed it so much he wants to go for his Birthday.
Atmosphere was very welcoming....best waiter we have had in a long time...food was amazing...will definitely be back!!!!
My second home. Everything on the made to order from fresh ingredients. You won't get a get a better Reuben. The whiskey walnut salad dressing is dynamite. Dip your fries in it for a euphoric dining experience. Even the Guinness tastes better here.
Lovely pub. My wife and I lived in Co. Cork for three years when we first married. Now, twenty six years later, we were visiting our son at Gettysburg College. This restaurant brought back many fond memories of our time in Cork. We'll be back.
Food was amazing as always, atmosphere was nice and casual, server was friendly and on top of things. This needs to be a must stop place on everyone's Gettysburg travel list!
