RecommendedOver the past month I have been working on a project at my home. I have been met with several major issues/challenges that were very unexpected. I will not buy anything from the Home Depot once this nightmare experience is over!! When you buy a $2,000+ refrigerator from this store and it breaks down 2 weeks after you receive it (after waiting over 3 weeks for delivery)and 30 days later you still have a broken refrigerator standing in your kitchen, I say go to Lowes in Mt. They could hire competent people in their respective departments. As a custom home builder with 30yr experience I counsel my clients to stay as far away from ANYTHING that Home Depot offers to order as anything ordered has ALWAYS taken far longer than promised and been either in-complete or damaged. Another thing is while walking thru the store it is not UN-common to hear a Home Depot employee giving terrible advice to a customer. Our island HD goes far and above customer expectations to ensure we always find what we want and offer advice and support. From the checkout/greeters to the special order staff to the store manager it is clear that they understand service. I've all but quit shopping at Home Depot, they have so much crap in the isles its almost impossible to move around.
Horrible horrible service! Can’t get anyone to help as well the pro desk is always closed or the people at the pro desk do not want to help. Promise you I’ll never have my contractor use your stuff or business ever again!
So we ordered a washer and dryer set that was delivered last Friday. Called to complain that the dryer was delivered damaged, and the washer is making a weird sound. Was offered a discount on the dryer and they acted like this is a normal thing. Was also told they would call Samsung about the noise it's making to get someone out there to inspect it before they would accept a return or exchange.
