History Established in 1916. In 1916, Russian immigrant and tailor, William Gallenson, and one of his uncles, William Paver, started Gallenson's as a tailor shop at 128 Regent Street in Salt Lake City. In 1925 the tailor shop was turned into a gun store and pawn shop. In 1930 the shop moved across from the Capitol Theater, to West 200 South. Gallensons’s is by far my favorite gun store. Such a cool environment with very knowledgeable employees. It’s always the first place I go when visiting Utah.
if you are looking for a large selection of new/used guns, accessories, ammo, knives, etc. this is the right place to come. there prices are extremely fair and likely the best I have seen. the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. there is so much inventory that a weekly visit to see what's new is a must! great store and customer service wont shop anywhere else!
Stopped in from Ca. Younger dude with the beard (reddish) helped me. Great store! I’m one step closer to moving out here! Everyone was legit friendly. Not fake to sell you crap friendly. Check it out if you’re around!
