History Established in 1916. In 1916, Russian immigrant and tailor, William Gallenson, and one of his uncles, William Paver, started Gallenson's as a tailor shop at 128 Regent Street in Salt Lake City. In 1925 the tailor shop was turned into a gun store and pawn shop. In 1930 the shop moved across from the Capitol Theater, to West 200 South. Love this store! The products and the employees are great.
Have always enjoyed going into Gallensons. We have bought 4 guns,2or 3 scopes, holsters, at this store. When looking for a gun, we have found that generally this is the place that has the best prices, and selections. If you don't go here you will probably pay too much.
Best gun shop around ! Great service, prices and selection. And I can't take my dog in to. Hands down best shop in Utah.
