The two times I've been to Galen Southside the customer service has been absolutely terrible. The nurse practitioner I saw, Nathan Smith, was condescending, short, and had terrible bedside manors. It doesn't take a lot to make someone's experience good, but essentially everyone on staff didn't care. Medical care in this country is awful and it's a struggle to find a decent primary care physician. Dr Jolley is the best doctor! Great diagnostician and able to think outside the box. She has been my doctor for 20 years. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Always a pleasure.
I have mixed feelings; the nurses, staff, and especially blood techs were all amazing and very kind. I do very badly with blood draws but have had two through this office and both have been perfect. Dr. Mullins, however, did not take most of my health concerns seriously and dismissed some things which ended up requiring treatment, at one point in a condescending tone. She seems very intelligent but I didn't get the care I needed from her. It's also rare that Dr. Mullins phone is answered so it is tricky to speak with someone... read more
Amazing doctors but actually the worst customer service ever. Good luck ever getting an appointment with anyone because they don’t answer the phone and don’t call you back when you leave a voicemail.
Want to rate Stephen Nathan Smith as excellent in patient care. I drive an hour to meet with him because I trust his medical opinion. He listens and cons patients. After consultation he 63makes referrals if necessary and calls or texts you personal ○~$÷÷$
