As with any practice there are a number of moving parts at Galen....the primary and most important is the care provided.......I felt the doctor who performed the procedure was excellent.....the others providing information and care were very good.....however, the billing and billing questions sucks!!!! I got what they called an invoice for $34.44 via email....no explanations, but could only be paid using a credit card or debit card. I don't use debit cards so paying with a credit card isn't paying at all, it is simply moving... read more

Staff you speak with on the phones are rude, pass the buck around and just transfers you to voice mail half the time. No one called me back. They didn't end our calls, but instead slammed the phone down when they finished a sentence - not confirming I got the information at all. I'm considering canceling my appointment because I don't want to start going to a doctor that has such unprofessional staff. What if I had an actual emergency?

I went in for a consultation and was not told it was going to cost anything. I was given a bill for $0.00 before I left the facility. I then received a bill over $250 after my insurance paid $100 for an office visit. I was there to ask how much a medical procedure would cost, and they billed me $250. Ridiculous. I canceled the procedure and I'll seek care elsewhere.
