Excellent way to spend a Birthday Dinner with my Husband Allan Califano!! Great Service, Atmosphere and Outsanding Food!
Gaido's has always been my families favorite place to eat seafood, we have even been know to drive an hour to eat there,,,,, not any more. We eat there Saturday, food was worst we have ever had, soup had been microwaved and way to hot, fish was undercooked, and the server so slow and always forgetting something everything he came to our table. We complaint to the manager and she was even worse.
I cant really say anything about the price - everything in Galveston is damn high - but im sorry 6 shrimp 5stuffed crab balls 4 mini fried crab pinchers and a pc of jerky thin catfish does not a seafood PLATTER make - place was nice and the staff was nice but I was very disappointed in the food and the value - or lack of
YUMMMMMMY! Food and service was great!! The hostess on the other hand wasn't very nice!!!

Absolutely love this place, the best place to eat in galveston, hands down.
Gaido's was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint! Richard, our server, was terrific, and I'm so glad I took his advice and tried the Tile, Michael Style. We loved our meal....from the first bite of appetizer to the last bite of the pecan pie....everything was perfect! I loved the vibe of the place - the history of the restaurant, all the old menus, the antiques in the lobby. It was the perfect setting for the perfect meal. Even our picky 10 year old enjoyed it. Amazing service and even more amazing food! My 2 year old even ate every single thing that my husband and I did!
Since our first visit over 25 years ago we've never been disappointed dining at Gaido's and the service has always been as superb as the dishes they serve.
