My wife and I have been going to Gaido's since the 70's. We live in Dallas so anytime we're within 100 miles we will stop in for lunch or dinner or both. We have never been displeased with anything we ate. The food is great, family atmosphere and the employees are wonderful.

Best place to eat Gulf seafood.
Simply amazing. Very knowledgeable waiter and the very best seafood around. Our group had grilled shrimp, Mahi mahi, Tile and I had the oyster sampler. Everyone agreed it was the best they have ever had. A must if you are on the Island and need a nice dinner. We skipped desert and made it out for under 150 with tip for a family of 4.
This restaurant has gone downhill. From food to service, it is bad. It is a real shame because it was a treat to eat here growing up. Avoid the disappointment.
