Excellent Service, staff, food, drinks....worth the wait and a trip to Galveston!
This has been a family tradition since I know of since I was a child in the 70s my family history goes Back way farther in the Galveston area. So I'm sure it's been a lot longer lol �.

Our waiter was awesome. He was very friendly and took very good care of us. He has worked there 37 years. The food was amazing but the vanilla bean ice cream with their chocolate cake is amazing.
Fantastic old school seafood. Incredibly fresh. Great attention to detail. Best in Galveston. Try the crab cakes and Redfish on the half shell with Castillo sauce (crab and asiago cream).
We love Gaido's! We go every year to celebrate our anniversary! We had our wedding reception in the Gulf Room in 2009. Great memories & fantastic seafood! 🦀
The inside of the restaurant was a wonderful surprise, we did not realize it would be so elegant. The staff was so friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, we have found a new favorite restaurant and I cannot wait to go back. We loved it.
Amazing experience. Wife and I went for our 15 year wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Wait staff and food was superb! Hope to make it a tradition!
Been eating at Gaidos all my life. It's as good as it's ever been. Crispy calamari was super, not your standard out of the bag frozen fare. Big plate of oysters fried in cracker meal hit the taste buds just right. But the best was the deep fried softshell crab with broiled parmesan tomatoes. OMG! Decades of "doing it right" continues. Be sure to get a window table and watch the waves roll in. Grest service to match the food. Five stars always.
