It is a longtime tradition of ours to dine at Gaido’s whenever in Galveston. They never fail to have delicious fresh seafood and a welcoming staff. It’s like coming home. Our family has wonderful memories at this restaurant and even though there are many other restaurant choices on the Seawall these days, there is NO place like Gaido’s!

The food was not so great shrimp in shrimp cocktail were very small. Could be bigger we are by the Gulf. Service was fine not the servers fault. But never seen a manager on site and they are noted for that.

We had a wonderful meal of red snapper, crab Mac n cheese and my husband had the pecan pie as well. Reservations are a must if you don’t want to wait a long time. We had wonderful service, they were out of the flounder special but the snapper was great. Large portions. Worth the $$$.

Great service, great food. Waiter suggested red snapper with the lemon butter and crab. Perfect. Italian wedding cake we shared also very good. Crab stuffed shrimp and seafood sampler were good, too. Will definitely return next time in Galveston.

Very good experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The redfish was melt in your mouth good. I would certainly visit again.

Best place on the island. Been gong there since I was a little kid. Nothing there is more than 24hrs out of the ocean. Always ask what's available off the menu. And the bread pudding is killer.

Excellent food and service. A Texas tradition, Gaidos is a "must" experience. My first visit was about 1974, and it set the bar for a very nice dinner and evening out. I still find it casually elegant with 5-star quality food and service.
