Always a must go to!! I don’t care how much it cost, it is worth every penny!
Host (male) was RUDE at best. Dinner was certainly NOT worth the one hour wait. Food was just “okay” at best and very disappointing overall. Only bright spot was our polite and attentive waiter - despite the slow kitchen. It’s just a tourist trap and only surviving on its history. Sad to see this place go downhill.

This restaurant has been around since 1910. The history on the walls tells a great story. The staff knows all the history and loves to tell you the story of Gaido's. Expect to spend about 1-2 hours there because you are in a fine dining restaurant and you just need to sit back and enjoy the ambiance. I also advise to make a reservation or you will be waiting a while, this is a popular place to eat right off the coast. The food and service is well worth the price you pay. I recommend this be on your list of things to do while... read more
It’s been years since I last visited Gaido’s and I was not disappointed. Best food and service with a view of the Gulf.
Was here last night and although we had to wait a long while to be served, it was still a good experience. It was my husband and I and our 2 daughter's. We ordered 2 plates of mozzarella cheese sticks thinking they were little like most other restaurants have small, WRONG, those were so huge. We got full off those and didn't order a meal, which was ok because we really just wanted drinks anyways. Armageddon was our waiter and he made the experience better
Delicious seafood straight from the gulf, excellently prepared, served by expert and knowlegeable wait staff! Highly recommend this restaurant!
My husband brought me here for my Birthday Lunch a couple days ago! The best Crab Stuffed Shrimp ever!! The Brownie Chocolate Cake was amazing!
Finally, red snapper fried to perfection. I miss the old menu. Didn’t care for the potatoes Au gratin. Preferred the smaller portion & old recipe. Bisque was great.
We had red snapper, red fish and oysters. Food was Incredible, service was impeccable. Exceptional experience overall!
