I recently saw Lauren Sok for a variety of nagging injuries up and down the right side of my body. I was so impressed with her integrated approach and I couldn't believe how much treatment was packed into the hour! I felt like she left no stone unturned when trying to both pinpoint the cause of the pain and treat it. She is so knowledgable! I was referred to Lauren at Functionize and am grateful for following through. Lauren has a way of explaining existing physical issues in simple terms and guiding you through progressive exercises and treatments to resolve those issues. Her manual therapy, dry needling, and assisted exercises have all helped my lower back pain dissipate. I’ve been seeing Merci for a little over a month now for diastasis recti that I got with my second pregnancy. In this short period of time I’ve seen huge improvements in my health and outlook. Merci is a wizard! She has a thoughtful plan ready, and does an incredible job making me feel confident in my ability to heal my body with the work I put in.
Beth is wonderful. She's a great listener, encouraging, and has really helped me through this postpartum period. The office staff are friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
Lauren is a ROCK STAR!!! She is so detailed with her approach to your treatment and recovery. I have seen Lauren for 3 years (on and off) for my hip. The one-on-one treatment is by far the best I have ever had!! It's more than treating your problem, she also tries to narrow down why your injury happened to begin with - working on correcting form, building strength, and helping you to keep a positive attitude throughout the process!! If you are looking for a solution, please go see Lauren!!
I'm happy to say that my shoulder pain has improved considerably since starting to see Lauren in July of last year. Lauren brings together many different techniques in her care, and I've really benefited from her approach. I'm grateful for everything at Functionize, and feel that I am in good hands there!
