Delivery times have been long when busy but management is responsive to the issue – I had some concerns about long wait times for delivery (sometimes well over an hour), but after discussion with management they seem to be genuine in trying to address the issue. There is no question, however that the food is among the best sushi in the city.
Fantastic – Great service, cool and hip atmosphere, great bar and most importantly the food was amazing. I'll go back again and again.
Incredible place, friendly staff, attentive management, great food – I love this place. Some friends introduced me a few weeks ago and I just went back today. The food was delicious (best roll list anywhere), and the service was perfect. Rarely can I find a place I like this much, and Fuji is my new favorite. Even the manager was extremely helpful in making sure my food came free of sesame seeds... a small favor that most restaurants could care less about. I strongly recommend this place... try the Eel Meet Salmon roll, it's... read more
Best sushi bar in philadelphia – I go frequently to Fuji and i'm not sure how anyone could possibly complain. The prices are extremely reasonable (especially compared to other local sushi bars) and the freshness is just unmatched. I recently started dining on the 2nd floor and really enjoyed that as well. I like talking to the sushi chefs though, so I prefer sit at the bar. Either way, if your looking for the best sushi in the city, go to Fuji. Highly recommended.
WORST JAPANESE IN PHILADELPHIA!!!! SMALL SASHIMI PIECES!!!!!!! – Got takeout last night and was told that the sushi was average size for philadelphia. The pieces were much smaller than other decent places in the city i.e. Haru and Shiro Hana both of which I would recommend. Also, the fish was not really fresh. They nickle and dime you for everything, charging 50 cents extra when I wanted 2 salads instead of soup or salad. Inside, was nice, but empty. I was lied to over the phone and told that the pieces were average when cle... read more
Best Restaurant in Philly!!! – Just when I thought this place couldn't get any better... it does! Their o-toro is only $5 / piece and it was the freshest piece of o-toro I have ever had. I am a regular at Fuji and I will be coming as long as I live in the city. Last night I went with my friend who is not too crazy about sushi and she still thinks Fuji is one of the greatest places in the city. Make sure you try the Cucumber Zest cocktail!!!! It is wonderful :)
Simply, The best place for sushi and sake in the area!! – nice place to enjoy fresh japanese foods and drinks, good place to hangout with girlfriend.. try some of crispy "Tempura" here. it taste great~ all members of the serving staff were so kind when i was there.
Amazing food, amazing service, simply amazing. – This place had a great atmosphere and the service was fast, pleasant, and polite. Everyone was just so friendly. The sushi was the best I've had in the city, very fresh ingredients and well put together nicely. If you go try the special roll. The menu had a large selection of entrees and was moderately priced. The banana tempura desert was absolutely to die for. Highly reccomended.
Best Japanese food in Philly – I have been going to Fuji Mountain for about five years now and have never been disappointed. There are plenty of other great things about Fuji Mountain, but for a sushi restaurant, the consistently excellent quality of the fish is the most important. I have been to four or five other sushi places in this city and none of them have held a candle to this restaurant when it comes to the fish. Fuji Restaurant in New Jersey (no relation) is the only Japanese restaurant in the area that I think has ... read more
