Frontera Grill is the sister establishment of the more well known, Topolobampo next door. Both restaurants are from the celebrated Chef Rick Bayless, however this spot focuses more on casual dining. Food was fantastic, service was great. Very crowded on a Tuesday night.
Hands down best restaurant in chicago. I wish I saw rick bayless there more often. Almost all ingredients are made from local farms in Illinois. I'm just confused about their reservation system. You can't make a reservation but everytime I'm there I at least see one table with a reservation sign posted up. Rick bayless is bae. #dreamman Do not skip dessert because that's the best part!
