I was a longtime patient of Dr. Marcial's and had more than a decade of positive interactions with him and his office staff (especially Nan - world's best hygienist!). After learning that the office had changed hands recently, I was sad and disappointed, but trusted that Dr. Marcial would have only passed his practice to someone of the highest caliber, so I set up my first appointment with Dr. Maggie Zhang. I was quite pleased with my appointment at Dr Zhang's yesterday. The hygienist, Nan, did her usual excellent and professional job of cleaning my teeth and taking x-rays. Then when Dr Zhang checked my teeth, I thought she did a more thorough job than has ever been done since I've lived in Seattle.
I have to admit, I was leery about the new dentist. Whenever you transfer a business over to a new person, things are not the same, and change is difficult. It's especially difficult when the original dentist is so well loved. The new dentist, Dr Zhang was very nice. I like that she wasn't pushy or tried to sell me anything. I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past trying to upsell me. She was kind and her demeanor was calming. Nan is great!
Dr. Maggie and Nan (hygienist) truly care about my continued dental health. Time is taken to explain all dental needs and issues, and my aversion to x-rays was handled with compassion and problem solving so we could have a plan B. Thanks for excellent care!
I found Dr. Maggie to be very nice and efficient. My experience was pain free.
Melissa did a wonderful job with my cleaning. Dr. Maggie showed me where I need to have some dental work and was very kind and professional.
