Been going to the original Frenchys since 1991. So much has changed in Clearwater Beach; happy to see Frenchys has thrived. Food is a good today as it was the first time.
Moved away 12 years ago, but always stop in to get the original grouper sandwich when we come back visit family. It’s the best!!! Never disappointed...other than sometimes a long wait to be seated...but definitely worth the wait!

Great food and excellent service! More than once a waitress that wasn't taking care of us asked if we needed anything. Garlic crab fries are amazing!
Atmosphere is touristy, but that's expected for the location. The staff isn't very friendly- more like harried and just over the whole experience. What's really important though is the food: unfortunately it doesn't make Frenchy's worth the visit. Mediocre bar fare that can be found at dozens of places in the area. Yes, even the Grouper cheeks. All of these drawbacks, coupled with the parking factor makes this place just not worth the trouble.
