Our first and last visit... We're staying at the San Pearl. Decided to go check it out. It has very small inside seating area. None of the staff tells you what you need to do in order to be seated, luckily we had another customer tell us that we needed to sign in on a clipboard... It has louder than normal bar atmosphere because it's cramped inside and the food is underwhelming. I tried the garlic fries. The buffalo shrimp were not crispy the batter was soggy. Food was wonderful, service was good and staff were friendly with us. It was very crowded with so many people seated at close tables, and noise level was high.
For me. Having been here since the inception of what has now become the Frenchy’s (so to speak) franchise. Nothing beats the Original.
Great food, the Grouper sandwiches are delicious. The place is a bit small but worth the wait to get a seat.
We hadn’t been there in a little over a year. Decided to make the drive from Tampa. So disappointed 😔. We always get the grilled grouper sandwich. It used to be such a delicious treat! The bun was sub par, too big for the size grouper. Fries were cold. Just a disappointment.... On a positive note: the smoked fish spread was wonderful!
What a quaint little place this is! We loved how the waiters knew the locals names as they came in and gave them hugs � Made us want to be a local too � My grilled grouper was wonderful and that bit of pineapple in the slaw a nice surprise. We are hooked on Frenchy’s now!
Fun place, always crowded. Air conditioning/fans always seem to be at max, making temp a little chilly.
