I love the Rockaway grill, it's also a must visit when I come to Clearwater 2-3 times a year. Ever now and then we have to go to one of the other locations and I will say the Cafe is the second best of the four.
We came in on a day when the buffalo chicken sand which was $3.95 and I was probably the best one I’ve ever had! They make their own buffalo sauce and the waitress sent me home with a cup full. My husband order the Cuban sandwich which was also completely amazing! The service was awesome, the staff was very friendly and accommodating...I really wish they had an establishment closer to us bc we would visit often! Love it!!!
Everyone recommends this place. I have no idea why. The service was good and the Drinks were poured proper strong, but the Baja tacos for $1.75 each on taco Tuesday is a must avoid. The worst fish tacos ever. It was literally a nasty roll up of soggy fried fish in a double layer tortilla that was both chewy and crunchy around the edges, and had a slimy doughy interior. Grouper nuggets were amazing! Kind and friendly servers!
The service from Michaela was friendly and efficient. The four of us all had something different- gumbo, Philly cheesesteak, steamed clams and fried shrimp- all excellent!
Been coming to the original since the 80s. Love the relaxed atmosphere, great service and the best grouper sandwich ever.
