We had a party of 6 and made a reservation for a Sat. afternoon lunch. They were very accommodating and put us on the first floor since I can't walk the steps. We had a wonderful time, the food was fantastic, and Josh, our server did a great job. He even took a group picture of us before we left. Thanks Josh!! Debbie Morton
Everything was great..atmosphere, food and service..
I came here for a work function and lucked into the right day: wild game night. I had a delicious ostrich steak and my wife had a nearly perfect bison steak. The prices were good and the portions were large. The leftovers were an excellent meal the next day. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone.
Food and service was amazing! I had the she crab soup (to die for!) and the grilled stuffed pork chop (also to die for!). I loved my meal so much I came back and ordered the exact same thing the next day and brought family with me too! Our waiter was oh so kind and very helpful!
Enjoyed the fried green tomato sandwich with fries (for me) and the broiled seafood sampler with rice pilaf and asparagus (for him). Tasty! Generous portions. Unique restaurant with a fascinating history. Glad we got to experience it.
We have eaten many times at the Freemason Abbey and have enjoyed our visit each time. The food is delicious and the atmosphere warm and relaxing.
The Vegetable Burger and She crab soup was delicious. Jessica provided outstanding service.
We were visiting Norfolk and went there for our anniversary dinner. My husband had steak and lobster and I had prime rib. Both were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to any one in the area. The building is truly unique in a renovated church..
